Containerized Desalinating Plant

CGS PNG Limited was awarded the contract to deliver a containerized seawater desalination plant for Boram General Hospital in Wewak, addressing recurring interruptions to the municipal potable water supply.
The 20-foot containerized system is designed to produce up to 30,000 litres of potable water per day from seawater.
The project includes engineering, overseas procurement, civil and site works, mechanical and electrical connections, installation, commissioning, and on-site training.

Boram General Hospital has identified the need to extend the capacity of its Accident & Emergency Clinic and Outpatient Clinic. Originally designed and constructed in 2019 as a temporary solution—to enable the demolition of the old hospital while maintaining essential services—these buildings have remained critical to operations.
Due to patient overflow at the new Boram General Hospital facility, the hospital has decided to retain, renovate, and expand the existing temporary structures.
CGS PNG Limited, was engaged to prepare the conceptual design for the extension. It is now being used as the basis for the public tender process to select a construction company for project implementation.

CGS PNG Limited supplied and delivered 40 adjustable hospital ward beds and 42 washable mattresses for the new four-wing ward building at Boram General Hospital. With suitable stock unavailable locally, the equipment was secured through international procurement partners in the Czech Republic and arranged for delivery to Papua New Guinea.

CGS PNG Limited is delivering a temporary hospital services facility for Boram General Hospital in Wewak to accommodate essential functions currently housed in a deteriorating building scheduled for demolition.
The new facility will support services including Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, NOPS, Engineering, Ration Stores, Workshop, Laundry, and MDR Ward, ensuring continuity of hospital operations until permanent replacement facilities are completed.
The temporary building is designed for an expected service life of approximately 3–4 years.
DAL Administration Building

CGS PNG Limited was engaged under the EU-STREIT PNG Programme, implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), to prepare the conceptual design for the renovation of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock Administration Building in Wewak.
The scope included architectural, structural, and building technology design. The approved design formed the basis for the public tender, and the project is now under construction in accordance with the CGS design.
